this is what happens to trans and gender variant people, and especially to trans women of colour. i rarely blog about these deaths, these murders, but if this is the only trans blog you read, perhaps you need a reminder of what goes on.
that's 29 people that we know of killed for being trans in the last year.
not including those who died because doctors couldn't be bothered looking after them. not including those who killed themselves because they were denied access to healthcare, and/or were routinely harrassed/discriminated against, and/or lost their jobs and family and friends when they transitioned. not including people like zoe belle.
