5 YEARS AND 9 MONTHS

That's how long it's taken to be officially recognised as male (or a sex/gender other than female) by the Australian Government. You know what that means?

My new passport just got delivered!

I wanted to write more, but I can't really describe how I feel! (Pretty good, let me tell you!)

Blimey, the cogs of the Australian government move very slowly.

Well done!

ha, well, it's not *that* slowly - it's just that they didn't change their passport policy until september this year. i should actually write and thank them.

Woo hoo! I got my Passport with my correct gender on it in early December. My girlfriends and I are planning a trip to NZ next year.
